Encaustic paintings are created with warm medium made of pure beeswax and pigment, then manipulated with heat. In this piece I found fusing the primary colors with fire, placing a layer of gold on top in the shape of ‘Fibonacci’s Sequence Nature’s Code,’ offered a contrast along with a place for the eye to travel.
