One-on-one FaceTime Instruction

Artist friends, I’m pleased to announce  that starting in February I will be offering  one- to- one FaceTime instruction, and, will teach a Plein air class as well.

Join me to explore the essential techniques for painting from direct observation. I can teach you to paint any subject, from the most simple to complex, with one approach. I will demonstrate the process of simplifying the subject and moving to finish as rapidly as possible, in order to add more energy and excitement to your painting.

Each hour session begins with a short lecture and full demonstration, ending with question and answer instruction. You may paint along with me or not.   My teaching is highly tailored for each individual, so beginners as well as experienced painters are welcome. I’ll send you images that we’ll work from, you’ll make the choice.  I will demonstrate in oils, but artists are welcome to use acrylic. 

In between our weekly sessions, you will continue to work on your painting, send me a photo of your progression, and, have a follow up phone call before our next session.

This class is highly tailored for each individual student, and all levels are welcome. Class size is limited, so that each student can receive the maximum amount of interaction with the instructor. A suggested materials list will be provided prior to the class
