I am proud to announce that I have been elected to the City of Newport Beach Arts Commission. I am looking forward to serving the citizens of Newport Beach and working closely with the other members of the commission to enhance the artistic, aesthetic and cultural aspects of our beautiful city.
My studio is now on a sailboat, located in a beautiful sheltered bay on the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach and we recently launched my largest painted canvas to date to promote it. Little did I know that my little studio on the water (see below) is now dubbed the Love Boat !

Carole Boller's work starts Newport Harbor Nautical Museum's permanent collection of Newport to Ensenada Yacht Race paintings
The painting tells the story of the race. Hundreds of yachts starting from Newport Harbor, a beautiful sunset as we sail into the evening, the god of wind that we hope will blow at night, dawn the next day and the finish under spinnacker in Ensenada.
